Meditation on Procrastination

If we delay and postpone what is necessary, then we make the situation bad. Something that is not done lingers to create anxiety, worry, fear and more. The consequences could be more negative thoughts like insecurity, lack of confidence, feelings of failure and hopelessness and etc.

The first step would be to achieve calmness, with which, we shall be in the correct position to start handling the task.

Tackling our inevitable tasks today, helps us not just for today, but tomorrow also. We do not leave extra work to do for tomorrow. Having done the task means we have prepared the basic foundation of that issue.

When we tackle one project that has been procrastinated at least once, we are starting the momentum of doing the works which we postponed. Confidence is gained. Hey, since I can do this, I’m sure I can do that and then some more.

Treat yourself to a very small pleasure to reward your work. You’ll use this measure as motivation to complete other tasks.
