Today’s meditation is on principles of character
Today, I was awakened at 2 am. I wasn’t permitted to fall back asleep. My next door neighbor staged a dramatic episode to show off her hired help’s prowess in waking me up and keeping me awake.
The old woman next door wants interference in her long standing feud with another neighbor. I disagree. My principles of character say that I’m not hired help and I can’t follow orders blindly. According to the oldtimers, no interference can bring back the original.
Whatever’s boiling in the pot has long been percolating. That cook has to manage her dish. When the coin toss shows a head, you win. When the toss is a tail, you lose.
Another issue worthy of meditation is on hiring help who is officially not permitted to perform in that capacity. Like workers job hopping and not gainfully employed.
