Getting used to sleep patterns
I’m maintaining a record of my sleep in case I need to use this later on. I fell asleep at around 10:30 pm last night, woke up with a shock at 12:30 mn. I went to the bathroom, returned to sleep, and next awoke at 6 am.
I always dream, even with disrupted sleep. A woman would be talking to me. About insignificant topics. Always, in the middle of her conversation, I would be awakened.
This morning, I feel ok. In fact, I’m getting used to being awakened multiple times in the night. Hurray! Perhaps I can live on in this place. If I leave, it would be for other reasons.
Today is a good day and why is that? It started with an intervention from an external contractor who is supposed to deliver and install a side cabinet. They were pieces of wood and the worker assembled them together. I asked them to screw the back support for two of my older book shelves, also purchased from the same furniture supplier but they refused. They were short men and they looked up at me, in a strange, haughty manner.
“No, we can’t. If we make scratches, we become responsible. We were not under contract to be responsible for other pieces of carpentry.”
“There’s a number to call the original team who assembled your book shelves and they will come to fix it for you.”
I did contact the original handyman and he agreed to drop by when his schedule permits. One problem of the incomplete assembly will be resolved soon. Today is a good day.
