My least favorite smell is the bad smell – sewage.
My next door neighbor used to have that smell in their backyard. They didn’t know their sewage was not flowing out to the government’s sewage sewers. The sludge was stuck for lack of water to wash it out. It was strange. When I first moved in, I used to search for places where the smell could be coming out. I thought a dog has passed its poop somewhere in the drains of the backyard.
I used to talk about this smell with my family. The neighbors heard and they started to use perfume in the backyard. It was strange in that their perfume was always there. Normal perfume would not be able to flow via convection current, from their backyard to mine. There was a very high plastic divider “wall” that was erected above the boundary wall. Ages ago, that neighbor was afraid of cooking smells being convected across to their backyard. They erected a plastic sheet to block cooking smells from being convected from either backyard.
They might have solved their problem, until they desired to block the bad sewage smell, but to convect the perfume smell. What kind of power would screen the type of smells to go across to a neighbor’s backyard? It might have been magic.
