Mindful Doodles #284 –
When do you get an astonished baker? Most probably when the baked confectionery looks way too surprising.

I used to bake simple sponge cakes in a microwave oven. They turned out well because I used a no frills recipe in a cook book.

Getting Meditation Out Of Baking

We meditate to nourish our brains, but we also need decent food to supply our body with the necessary nutrients to work properly to sustain and support us. How do we get good food? We should make some basic foods, cook, eat balanced meals, drink plenty of water and obtain quality, peaceful sleep.

Baking bread provides us with a loaf of carbohydrate, which we can eat for any meal, with meat/ fish and vegetables. Making bread can be therapeutic. We put in work kneading the dough and feel good when we see the finished product. Similarly, we also take pride in cooking our meals. With each bite, we appreciate the gratitude of having cooked food to eat.
