If this first line was a dream, that could mean that Eden (the dreamer), was physically sick, or mentally troubled.
If Eden was sick, her body might have sent nervous impulses to her brain, reporting of whatever ailments that plagued her. These messages are meant to inform Eden that she needed to seek help to address these issues.
If Eden was not physically ill but had other problems, the stress may have triggered a dream which hinted to her emotional and mental stress.
