Crimson’s Creative Challenge #034 May 14 2025

Last Wednesday, I was so inspired by Crispina’s Crimson Creative Challenge, in which she offered 4 photos for creative use. One of those was a snap of a snail. Its shell was a beautiful whorl. This is my first sighting of a snail’s shell in my neighborhood, since Wednesday, May 7, when I decided I would be taking pictures of snails too.

Common garden snail.

Photo #1: The bench says;”Help! Somebody help me! I’m being swallowed up by the fauna!”

The bench says,”Oh good! I can play hide-and-seek with the passing humans and animals. I hate it when someone sits on me!”

Photo #2: The builders forgot to close the gap between the two wooden railings. People can still slip under the bridge, to search for treasure.

Photo #3: Poor dears! the flowers are heavy and they droop down. How are the insects going to get nectar from drooping flowers?

Photo #4: I seldom see flowers “sprouting out” from the center of a leaf pad. Its beautiful; as though the leaf grows out flowers.

Thank you, Crispina. Your beautiful photos speak to our aesthetic sense and open our eyes to the beauty of nature and manmade constructions to handle nature’s challenges.
