Broken Foot went to the Orthopaedic Specialist for four visits and saw patients more broken than itself.
One mature male adult was limping on a cane, and leaning at a steep angle on his stick.
A young adult woman walked into the clinic wearing slippers. Her foot was smashed up, swollen and had expanded visibly. She told her accompanying male friend that “My foot didn’t heal properly and that’s why I can’t even wear my Walker boot. That lady there can wera her boot because her foot is healing.”
Broken Foot felt sorry for that woman. It had never thought that nothing short of healing could take place.
These images have left lasting impressions on Broken Foot.
