and this bloghop closes on March 3 2026. A new hop opens every Thursday.
Another week has passed and this is my reflection on my list of Ten Things of Thankfulness (TToT)
#1 – We managed to run errands earlier, to avoid the rains.
#2 – Rain. Grateful to feel relief with cool weather, & some savings in our water bill as we use stored water for plants.
#3 – Delightful parade from nature’s extravagance. Many years ago, a nature guide told us his method of discerning shrooms that were edible and not poisonous. He would look for signs that wild animals/ birds have nibbled on them. I don’t suggest this method.

#4 – Thanks for someone who passed me the book The Year Of Magical Thinking, by Joan Didion. It is about grieving and acceptance of loss, instead of thinking that magic may happen (hence the title) and death can be reversed.
#5 – Great to discover I like non-fiction books and prompts too.
#6 – Great to have seen the Impressionism art exhibition.

More photos are at https://artmater.com/visiting-impressionism-art-fashion-post-event/
#7 – Great to have a slow period in my project. It means having some time to do other things.
#8 – Good to plant miniature chillis.

This is what it will look like when grown.

#9 – Grateful to see the occasional bloom that is cheerful. Any color of flower will do.

#10 – Thank you, bloggers from TToT, for your warm support.

Pretty blooms and Impressionist paintings do make for a lovely week.
I’m with Mimi on that, and…and! to see the plants either starting to grow or are grown is a welcome respite from our Winter over here (in southern New England).
Thank you for being such an active Hostinae!
Two years ago, we visited Monet’s house and saw the very bridge in #3 – magic! Have a great week…
