Not to worry, the critters’ souls were once housed in human bodies too. They were degraded to spend a life time in critters’ bodies, because they were not so good during their lives as humans.
Now that they’re back into human bodies, they are ecstatic. It is a feeling of deja vu.
As this was an abnormal interchange of bodies, they didn’t get to drink the soup of brainwashing. Their exchange was not the same as reincarnation. They retained their memories from when they were critters and foraged for food among the soil of the earth. They were very happy and discussed how they could redeem themselves in their new life span as humans, so that after this death, they would likely be reborn in the reincarnation of humans, and not non-humans.
They had studied Buddhism in one of their lives, that to be born into a higher order of living things, one had to live ethical lives, practice good intentions, and do acts of charity. If humans followed these principles, they would accumulate points of merit that help them attain and climb up the rungs of higher order.
The former critters had strange inclinations, which are inherited from the former owners of the human bodies. The brain cells are saying to continue the former patterns of behaviors; which is to do gaslighting on the Good Woman, to irritate her and manipulate her to become their slave.
The ex-critters were puzzled and perplexed over the strange thoughts in their neural circuits.
Ex-critter #1 says: “Along with those gaslighting ideas, I’m also getting brain waves about telling lies for the Old Witch’s son.”
Ex-critter #2 says: ” All immorality are bad. We fight against anything that will send us back to critter forms.”
Ex-critter #1 says: “Yes, eating leaves and mud is disgusting.”
Ex-critter #2 says: “Well, in your previous life as a human, you used to smoke tobacco leaves!”
Ex-critter #1 says: “Those were cigarettes and cigars. They were stimulating and uplifting.”
Ex-critter #2 says: “No, they were bad addictions. Those sent us to our next life as lowly critters who ate leaves. That was our punishment.”
