What happens behind closed doors of a mental health ward?

We’re showing here what happens. Stigma surrounding talk on mental health is reducing. In fact, the reverse is happening. People may be eager to admit showing symptoms of ADHD, Depression, … ….

Please take care of your mental health. Attacks on physical, mental, psychological, emotional, spiritual aspects may poke holes in the well-being of a person.

Talk to someone who knows you and who you trust. If you want more help, ask your regular GP to recommend a psychologist, a therapist, a psychiatrist and a counselor. Usually a psychiatrist can prescribe medications while the rest of these discuss strategies to help you.

When I was a volunteer in the Children’s Ward in a public mental health hospital, there was never a dull moment.

There’s no formal school education in the Children’s Ward for kids below 18 years old. The mornings are scheduled for art and craft, cooking, playground. The afternoons host board games, TV, reading, and etc.
