There is a place the Broken Foot can not be right now, because she can’t walk around there. She might call a cab to send her there, but within the confines of the building, she can not walk around with ease, in her present, disabled state.
She misses church. On the Broken Foot realized she would have to miss church every weekend, she felt tinges of regret and FOMO. She thought of wearing her walking boot to trudge around, but her relative would have none of that. He ordered house arrest, or bed rest, for Broken Foot. He was correct. Broken Foot has a slow and arduous journey to recovery.
It has been two months since Broken Foot came to be. She is healing but not wholly whole. She has small stabs of pain sometimes.
Broken Foot stays home to do her praying.
