This is my answer. I desire a home office/ study/ activity room. I want my study desk, to sit in a corner, for my laptop and painting supplies.
I’ll share the other two walls of the room with other family members. They might like to have their personal desks with their computers. Each person will have one wall to themselves. When we sit facing the wall, we are not disturbing one another. The person who is most fussy about having the window, will get the wall with its attached window. The other two members will get their solid wall.
If someone in the family wants to watch TV or video, they’ll have to take their electronics to the living room. They can’t play with the audio turned on as this will disturb the other two people in the home office/ study/ activity room.
I don’t usually have enough rooms to dedicate to specific purpose. My family and I usually use the sitting room and dining room as our home work space. The tables are useful as work places.
