I dreamed of a strange looking cat.
The feline looked like it had snake skin. Its belly was transparent, showing its pregnancy. It carried two babies and they looked like terrapins/ tortoises, swimming inside her belly’s amniotic sac of fluid.
This cat looked so strange that I was afraid of it. A young woman was right in front of this cat and peering closely into its face. I was talking loudly at her. “Get away from that cat.” She ignored me and continued to look at it closely. The cat backed away upon hearing my voice. Then it came forward again.
Again the young woman in front of me peered closely at the cat.
Again, I said loudly to the woman, “Get away, get away.”
She refused to stand back.
It seemed this dream was a continuous play of the cat retreating backwards and coming out again, with me repeating my warning to the woman, “Get away, get away.”
Then I was awakened.
The cat looked a bit like this cat, only that its background color was “khaki beige” and not light grey-black as in the picture.
