I was invited to meditate on a set of prompts and so I shall
Look before you step. There could be water everywhere.

My recent days, nights and early dawns are concentrated on a certain family’s drama. Its not the prevalent Earnshaw, Heathcliff and Linton family dynamics. Those are from Wuthering Heights, if you’re unfamiliar with the surnames. My local sphere of turbulence is with a couple of families living along the same street.
As I reflect, I remember many old sayings which sprout advice for the uninitiated, like “Don’t poke your nose into other people’s affairs”, “Neither a borrower nor lender be” “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink it”. If you’re wondering why I bring this up, ponder no longer. Yes, I was invited to take sides and fight in the private ring. I have declined many times. Yet, the traps are laid out daily.
It is like whenever you’re invited to smoke a cigarette, or other stimulants, you’re morally responsible for yourself. If you bite the bait, you’re entrapped and you face two consequences. Either you stay inside the confines, or you fight yourself, to overcome the addiction. The first cigarette may be free but when you crave for more, you’ll have to pay for your own kick.
You’re invited to meditate and reflect on your circumstances. How are you moving forward?
