It isn’t witchcraft or sorcery – more like nerves permanently stimulated in false stimulus, even as no headphones and nothing are on his head. The area of brain that receives nervous impulses from the head’s skin, are falsely alerted that something feeling like headphones, are on the head.
There are variations of this disorder. Like when the person feels like an insect is crawling on his back, where he can’t turn his head around 180 degrees to look. He has a sensation of something moving on the skin of his back. For problems with nerves, a neurologist can be consulted.
This person can get help from a medical doctor.
Another variation of this disorder is when a person keeps hearing voices talking about him/ her. Even in places where there is nobody, the person persistently hears voices talking. This can be schizophrenia. This person can get help from a psychiatrist.
