What do you do when people mock you for praying when it seems nothing is going well for you? Stay silent and continue praying. Meditate and listen. This is the precursor to this post.
This is the gist of what happened:
On Day 1, my neighbor warned me that they would be waking me up twice at night. That night until early morning the next day, that neighbor woke me twice, as they said they would.
On Day 2, I said I would tell a proxy to call the police. On the night of Day 2 stretching into Day 3, that neighbor awoke me again twice. In the morning of Day 3, I told my other family members.
On Day 3, the government’s local authority for the environment sent two representatives and 3 men as back up, to ring my door bell. The head of this entourage spoke to me to ask questions about an illegal drain opening behind my house. That wasn’t me who did it. The previous owner or the contractor who did the new road did it. This Headman asked me if my neighbor could answer questions about the origin of the drain.
My neighbor thinks I sent the government people to create trouble for them. They think the environment agency people are the proxy to call the police on them.
I think the lessons for me are:
- Never mock people for praying even when it seems as though their prayer is not answered.
- Never do bad stuff like cheating, blackmailing, & conspiring to extort money.
I know nothing concrete has happened yet but I’m sure I can say “Praise the Lord”.
