Meditation for Thankfulness Oct 6 – 10 2025

How do I meditate for thankfulness for TToT? I recall the instances in my recent days that I received blessings, for which I journal my thanks now.

On one of the weekdays, we had to make a trip downtown to collect a couple of small items from the workshop. We made an appointment. Despite this, the technician was away, out of town. His colleague opened his absent co-worker’s storage compartment, but couldn’t find our items. He told us they were probably at another workshop and the staff had gone out for their lunch. He gave us choices of returning at night to collect, or make an appointment for another day. We chose the later.

Instead of being disappointed with a wasted trip to town, we decided to visit the newest book store in the vicinity. There were no glossy mags there because it was a dying product and financial risk to carry. My friend was disappointed for the second time that day. She was filled with anticipation about the new book store but it turned out to be another bummer. The shelves expanded with the vastness from floor to ceiling. I wasn’t encouraged to browse the general topics as I suspected that would be a waste of money. I searched for pretty collage paper and bought a tiny pack. Tiny because that was the only size available. You know, it is easier to sell a small pack of stuff that is below $10. If I manage to include the paper in an art at the time of this posting, you’ll see it.

I also bought 2 packs of dental product from the pharmacy nearby. I was thankful to salvage a trip, to turn it useful.
