A building in Washington has this lion’s face on top of a window. Additionally, there’s ornamental designs. I used to have a room with wall plaster cast in design. The decoration was made in a workshop and arrived as a set piece, to be glued onto the wall. I’m unsure if this is the same method deployed for outer walls.
The lion is an icon displayed on the exterior of a building. Some cultures believe that the lion is a guard to ward off evil from the building.
