Haunted
A woman, a matriarch, in her inter-generational family of children and grandchildren, consistently manipulates everyone to suit her desire to achieve goals.
She does that to everybody, family, friend or foe alike.
She spins webs of lies of convenience to ensnare victims and coerce them into doing her bidding and doesn’t take no for the answer.
She thinks she is the way, the truth, the life; and none can enter her social acceptance except through her vetting.
I recognize her authoritarian dictatorship doctrine and I reject the fake messiah; I can not serve two lords.
The haunting has been six months and she’s still at it – another person who has inclusive knowledge in this extended web, says it is stupidity that feeds her obsession to control others .. this is the end of my tale but not the end of this story as her haunting continues.

Very good points in your comparison of this kind of behavior to what a “fake messiah” would do.
some people totally take advantage of whatever familial authority they may have… the worst thing is that it (the power) is by chance of birth and surely not earned.
I have had such manipulators in my life, and I’m glad they are no longer around.
