Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel is hosted by StacyUncorked.com .

Last week Wednesday was our Roman Catholic church’s Ash Wednesday, which occurred on March 5, 2025. We attended the blessing of ash on our foreheads and Mass. This Tuesday is our first Tuesday during our church’s calendar period of Lent. This season lasts for about a month, culminating on the eve of Easter Sunday.

We learned about “Fat Tuesday”, the eve of Ash Wednesday. Its labeled Fat because that is the last day to indulge in tasty, calorie loaded food, before we start Lent, during which we have to discipline ourselves and refrain from gorging on delicious food.

Good for me, I don’t gorge on luxury food. I didn’t do a Fat Tuesday.

BRIAN’S THANKFUL THURSDAY BLOG HOP. Brian’s blog features his 9 felines.

On Thursday morning, I went to my usual clinic to receive my flu jab. I was in the neighbourhood of The Best Chicken Rice seller so I just had to buy a box. I’m thankful I had the chance to eat a nice lunch.

This is my thanks for this week’s Thankful Thursday bloghop.

I’m buying indie poetry books. I’m interested in poetry books which have many descriptions of objects & people. Please leave your weblinks to books in the comments. You must also be interested to visit the book reviews and maybe share those links with your friends. Why? Because I have done a survey: https://artmater.com/bar-graph-shows-number-of-authors-who-dont-read-book-reviews-of-their-own-books-versus-those-who-read-reviews-of-their-own-books/#google_vignette

If you haven’t published your own indie poetry book, but know of others who have, please recommend them here. Thanks.
