Why is this story important for me to write?

The above prompt is from Story Clarity Challenge page by Traci Skuce. A 5-Day Challenge from Aug 18 – 22 2025. Its free to join.

Sometimes, I feel I want to tell my story, to give validation for what I’ve experienced. I want my voice to be heard. But some people express disbelief because they associate unconventional stories with mental problems. Its only when they themselves experience it, that they become interested to hear how you handle their problem.

Day 2

  1. Who gets to tell this story?Set a timer for 5 minutes. In your notebook answer the question: who gets to tell this story? Why? Is this the only possibility for the story? Or is there another?
  2. Which point of view (POV) or views? Try writing in 1st, 2nd and omniscient POV.
