
What’s wrong when you meditate for peace & can’t find it? Maybe you can’t even meditate properly because other things are blocking. The reasons are probably psychological barriers caused by factors like
- Anxiety (real or perceived)
- Stress from the anxiety
- Fear (real or exaggerated)
- Self-doubts that contribute to anxiety
- Procrastination in tackling the issue which adds anxiety, stress, fear, self-doubts & etc
- Your habits are deterrence to change, which is necessary to remove the root cause
- You’re impatient for change to happen but you’re reluctant to implement change
- The more you harp on your issues, the more anxiety and psychological issues you’ll feel.
- In your desperation to think of solutions, you turn over every leaf, even the unlikely ones.
This is a list of common psychological issues and emotions. You can’t resolve them by thinking about them. You need active engagement with the subject matter. Therefore, the only temporary solution is to stop thinking about them. Stop nagging yourself. This is why we are always told to let go and release the nagging.
