When a man dreams that he is a woman it means his feminine side may be trying to get in touch. Every man has masculine and feminine traits. External stimuli may trigger thoughts and emotions which originate from either his masculine or feminine perspective. The male dreamer may be undergoing a transformation, that changes his character. He may have been hard headed and uncompromising at heart before. Maybe he has changed to be malleable and accommodating. Hence he dreams that he becomes a woman. That is only in metaphorical terms. In rare cases, a male dreamer who has psychological inclinations of being a gender misfit, or gender identity crisis, may dream of being the opposite gender. This could be due to his unconscious desires to belong to the other gender.
