When he boarded the bendy bus, he felt goose bumps tingling his skin on his arms and legs. “How strange,” he thought. His eyes scanned the length of the long bus. No, he didn’t recognize anybody. At least, not from the front of the bus. Perhaps he should walk to the back to get a seat. He’ll be able to look at commuters when they get up to alight at their stops. He took a window seat to give him the excuse to look out if commuters look at him, or try to strike up a conversation. He continued to feel uneasy with that tingling feeling. He watched the exit door. A man was standing near, getting ready to alight. Suddenly, this man turned his face towards the back of the bus and locked eyes with him. Blood drained from his face. He was certain he recognized this face. He saw him on the poster last night.

  1. Ooh, neat, tense cliffhanger.
The strange sensations that warn us, but that we don’t always understand.
    Nice one.

  2. How scary! I hope, even though he recognized the man, the man didn’t know him.
