Take another look – there’s something here:

Prompt is “take another look”
(1) Take another look at the yellow flower on the right. There are ants milling around to collect nectar. I happened to have this photo recently and viola, what would you know! Linda chose the phrase “take another look” for Jan 24’s JusJoJan and today’s Stream of Conscious Saturday. Now I don’t need to crack my head thinking of what to write about.
(2) The last time I came across this phrase in the newspapers was when a journalist quoted a medical professional, who said he was taking another look into a patient’s injury, for a second opinion. For the record, the first opinion was correct.
(3) Prior to this, I was personally the relook, as a candidate for a position in a role. I was rejected at my first attempt. They did take another look at me but it didn’t work because I was already once bitten and twice shy. I thought that if I accepted the role, I would be equally prone to be subject to more treatment of the same kind. I wanted to save my confidence, self-esteem and survival, so I walked on.
Taking another look is good.
