Stand in nature to meditate

Plants galore.

When we walk out to be among nature, we breathe in fresh air and smell the flora and fauna. It is a different smell. We see the greens, browns and other colors. We feel the coolness of shade from trees. Sometimes, we can hear rustling of leaves and branches, indicating movements. It could be wind or animals. Small animals would be afraid of humans and they hurry to scuttle away. We are close enough to civilization, to have no fear of big predators.

We can walk to a forest, a field of grass, or flowers, or agriculture to meditate.

Nature is quiet, calm, and peaceful. It is reactive to sunlight, rain, the seasons and interference from man. We can see how it stands no matter how the elements fall on it. I admire this quality of steadfastness. I too, have tried to remain steady in the face of challenges. I find that time puts distance between us and the adversity. This time is the grace period that hardens us, strengthens us and helps us endure. Unless the circumstances are life threatening, then we would be considering other options.
