Mother and child
There is no other bond like the maternal one. The mother has sacrificed all to give birth to her baby. Most mothers will continue to sacrifice to bring up her child.
However, this isn’t the rule. The exceptions are tragic. Sometimes, we read about them in the news.
I have paused to remember some of the stories. This has eaten into my limited time for typing my stream of conscious thoughts.
What can be done to intervene to improve the circumstances of kids who lack maternal care? There is only so much the nanny state can do.
