Michelle Williams, whose former partner Heath Ledger tragically died, has found happiness again. Ms Williams is engaged to be married to Thomas Kail, the director of Hamilton. Williams, 39, is expecting a child with Kail, 42. Williams’ firstborn, Matilda, is now 14 years old. Matilda’s dad was Ledger, who died in 2008, when she was 2 years old.
Michelle Williams used to be married to Phil Elverum, a musician. The last media interview that was published in April 2019 confirmed this marriage that happened around 2018. Elverum’s previous marriage to musician and artist Geneviève Castrée produced a daughter who was 3 years old at the time of his 2018 marriage to Williams. Castree had cancer and died when her daughter was 1 1/2 years old. Elverum is 3 years older than Williams.
