This is my response to Melissa’s #FFFC April 21 2025:
One morning, the princess disappeared from her bedroom. Despite a countrywide search, she couldn’t be located. The next morning, a brown and white kitten was discovered lying on the princess’ vacant bed. The staff were perplexed. Who is this kitten, who dares to enjoy the princess’ luxurious bed?
The maid tried to shoo the kitten away, but it refused to budge. The bed was her territory. It even knew how to use the toilet, but was too small to depress the flush mechanism. The maid found its waste swimming in the toilet bowl.
The maid told the cook, who then decided to serve the princess’ favorite dessert.
“Our princess can never resist eating her favorite dessert. If the kitten eats it, we’ll know for sure the princess has metamorphosed into that kitten,” said the cook.
“That’s a clever idea!” cried the maid.
