A woman told me she dreamed about packing her suitcase. She dreamed she was packing her large luggage on the night of February 7, 2024. Where was she going? Was she leaving for a journey out of town? She said her mind was filled with thoughts of packing her deodorant. It was an important toiletry item for her because she was concerned with her personal hygiene and smell. She perspired a lot during the humid, hot days and she used her deodorant stick frequently. She smeared deodorant on the inside of her suitcase. It didn’t occur to her that it was strange to smear deodorant on an object. She also had a bottle of Dove deodorant spray. Just as suddenly as she started to dream, her dream ended.
Even a wild guess would take note of the woman’s obsession with deodorant. I asked her if she often used deodorant and she replied in the affirmative. She revealed she had a problem of body odor (odour) from excessive perspiration. She dreamed of deodorant because it was important for her, to use to mask her body odor.
