When we are so troubled that we don’t know how to pray, our silence allows the Holy Spirit to pray for us, and to pray over us. The Holy Spirit knows our pain and intercedes for us to God our Father. No parent can bear to see their children suffering, and will rush to their aid. Every morning, we can do well to remind ourselves of the presence of the Holy Spirit and write this in our Morning Pages.
