The Father of Psychology, Sigmund Freud, revealed he read the British authoress, George Eliot. She was controversial in her writings, as well as an avant garde in her personal life. In her own way, she walked her talk.

George Eliot also used various names during her life. She was Mary Ann Evans, Mariann Evans, Mary Ann Evans Lewes, and lastly Mary Ann Cross.
