Flashback to last week, when I caught these photos, maybe because the bird was too hungry to mind me standing nearby. This bird has a long, sharp beak which it uses to dip into the nectary, to eat nectar.
This is a better view of the bird. I notice that other species of birds also chirp and make sounds while feeding.
