I’m going to practice with this writing prompt.
The cost of living is higher by the year. Some of us work two or three jobs to survive or save some money. I can’t complain because there isn’t enough paid jobs to go around. The better jobs are reserved for those who earn the rights through networking recommendation. The worker’s merit is touted through word of mouth. Jobs are no longer available for mass recruitment in the classified ads. Around 20 years ago, newspapers even published special sections exclusively catering to recruitment for hiring. Then one week, the newspaper announced they had to discontinue this section due to dwindling demand.
I derive that the cost of living is inverse to employment quota.
