This TToT bloghop (Ten Things of Thankfulness) is open from Feb 19 and is accepting post links until Tue Feb 24. A new TToT will open every Thursday.

My list of thanks:
#1 – We made a trip into town to collect a repaired item and went to the book store. If we don’t go near a book store, we usually will never take transport down to any book store specifically for books/ magazines. No, there was nothing for me. My family member got a mag. At least the trip wasn’t for nothing.
#2 – Liturgical season of Lent started on Ash Wednesday Feb 18. We went to another church for service because our neighborhood church started their service very early in the morning. It was refreshing to sit through a service at a different church.
#3 – Thankful that we have a subgroup from TToT, who are going to join April’s https://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/
If you’re new to us, drop me a link to your blog when you start your A – Z challenge in April.
#4 – Thanks for the push to do better. I had thought of posting a lazy A to Z series on simple sketches sans writings. Until a few people inspired me to do another theme. I have around 6 more Letters to prepare. During these prep groundwork, I saw another window of possibility in communicative creative writing. Even in a personal challenge, it opened another window.
#5 – Because of #2, we travel to another neighborhood, and avail ourselves of the opportunity to walk the aisles of a different supermarket. We have to buy weekly groceries after all. We would never specifically make a separate trip there.
#6 – Remember this?

#7 – Thanks for the new plants. Stem cuttings grew upright shoots aiming up for sunlight.

#8 – Thankful we can still manage to reduce our weekly shopping load. We managed to buy one bag of groceries each, to allow us to take the bus back home, instead of having to lug many bags into a cab for the home-bound trip. It is a different experience.
#9 – Grateful for rain. We received enough rain.
#10 – Thank you for readers! This blog is on WordPress feed, Blogarama and sometimes, Instagram. You should put your blog on feeds too, to increase its exposure.

Hi Cai, what do you use the Bitter Gourds for cuisine or ornament? You are so much further on with yout A to Z – my own fault for biting off so much – at this rate I will eventually have to spend the entire preceding year writing lol
Thank you for your interest.
Bitter gourds/ melon can be fried veggies. First, fry the base onion, garlic, ginger in a tiny amount of oil. Add preferred seasonings like salt, pepper etc. Add the cut gourds, without it’s seeds. Fry until the color turns lighter. That’s when you know its cooked. You can beat 1 egg and pour it over the gourds. Egg cooks fast. Stir the mix a bit. The egg helps to neutralize the bitter taste a little.
Bitter gourds are sometimes known for their nutritional properties like helping to lower blood glucose level. They must be eaten with a little carb and never alone. May cause Hypoglycemia.
Guava and some teas can help diabetes too.
I’ve added 4 more photos, showing the ripe fruit, the sliced open pod, red seeds with membranes, and washed white seeds.
loved the sequential presentation in Grats #6 and 7!
(so true about a picture being worth a thousand words!)
good TToT list, a mix of current events, informative photos and encouragement for any New Readers/New Bloggers
way to communitze!
I very much enjoyed your post, and seeing how bitter melon is processed. Growing some of your own food must cut down on your grocery costs.
