Artemidorus Daldianus lived in around 2 A.D. He was a famous dream interpreter. He passed his knowledge to his son, who he named after himself. When we do research on Artemidorus, we must be careful to discern which man is being referred to.
He lived in Greece. In the old days, people made many sculptures, statues, drawings and art showing the gods. People believed they existed and maybe that was why they dreamed about the gods, in activities that common man did.
