Ten Things of Thankfulness (TToT) meditation & reflection for Jan 12 – 16, 2026

Explaining this photo:
I bought this orchid in around 2020, while it had a single stalk of purple and white flowers. After the flowers withered, it has never bloomed again. I used to put orchid fertiliser for about a year but still, nothing happened except for the growth of new leaves and roots.
TToT
Number 1) I finally bought replacement lights for those which were faulty.
Number 2) I had the incentive to visit the showroom of the TREADMILL. It was a model mainly catering to walking as the track was too short for running. I’m supposed to buy it for someone in my family.
Number 3) Thankful for contacts to direct suppliers who are willing to come up to the house to make repairs, send hardware, and take measurements.
Number 4) Blackout curtains that also absorb some echo within the room.

Number 5) We still have to install a parcel delivery box, ceiling lights, door knob, broken window handles and other repair works. I’m thankful these are minor and can be handled by a handyman.
Number 6) Pretty, bright, pink flowers.

Number 7) Reading fiction.
Number 8) Meal delivery.
Number 9) Some people out there, looking out for me.
Number 10) Bloggers and readers.
Keeping an orchid alive for that long is great! Hopefully yours will decide to rebloom again soon. I’m just learning more about orchid care; only recently I’ve been able to keep one alive longer than one year.
Enjoyed your list!
