Saturday was a home day, spent reading newspapers and chores.
In the late afternoon, we took a bus to church.
We were early so we split up to each their own purpose. One went inside the church to find a good seating not under the blast of the aircon. The other went into the religious items store to buy incense and charcoal.
We managed to be reunited inside the church. Just under the joint of the extension, where there was no air-conditioner to freeze us.
In one hour, Mass ended. I was happy to have a church bulletin to bring home as a souvenir of this wonderful hour. In these days of rising costs, even a piece of paper is a good memento.
We walked the reverse journey back to the bus stop on the opposite side of the road, to travel in the reverse direction to reach home.
Home, sweet home. Rush to prepare the evening’s food.
A couple of leisurely hours reading and its bedtime.
