You think its lucid dreaming but it may not be. You’re awake & see images running in your mind. You’re not asleep and not even sleepy. This may happen if you’re sick. Your brain is upset when your body has physiological turmoil. The signals of distress received by your brain activates memory cells which run the imagery by your consciousness. The brain may splice, mix and match different images to invent a new pseudo-documentary of your life. This running imagery does not contain facts or the truths. It is like lucid dreaming, except that you’re too sick to sleep and this is not lucid dreaming.

Dreaming of romance is a series of snippets in fiction.

She flinched a little. She was shy and scared. How contradictory. He was reciprocating. Was she dreaming by building castles in the air?
