Dreaming of searching for back door:

It is a practical way to enter, when the front door is inaccessible. As every job applicant knows, when they are not welcomed at the front door, then its time to search for the back door. There is a slim chance of  succeeding, but at least, there is a chance, unlike going through the exceedingly competitive public front. Like they say about networking, connections matter. Its who you know, that will recommend you, and allow you to get a foot inside the office.
