I dreamed of a string of fake pearls which I had received for Christmas, around 20 years ago, from a distant friend. I had no idea why I had dreamed about these imitation pearls as I wasn’t really close to that friend.

Dream analysis:
Nostalgia may have brought up the memory of the pearl necklace. I thought about my waking life and could not find any relation between my dream and reality. I even reflected on the bible’s scripture passage warning not to throw pearls at pigs because these will get stepped on. Pigs don’t understand the value of pearls and don’t appreciate them. Since I could not associate anything from my waking life to my dream, I placed that dream aside.
