I saw grass, shrubs, trees, domestic dogs and strangers. I felt freshly invigorated with the wonders of nature.
This was an old experience which made lasting impressions because I was liberated from a dark episode of suffering.
When I was down, I envied the grass, weeds, and nature, who were permitted to thrive even without man’s special attention to nourish them. I wondered why these and others could thrive, while I was so challenged.
This is one of the Bible passages which spoke to me and comforted me. It held my hand while I was down.
Matthew 6:26-27 New International Version (NIV)
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

I believed that since God takes care of even wild life like birds, He will take care of me. Sometimes it takes years. But it will happen.
Whenever I visit a new place anywhere, I breathe in the wonders of beauty. I am grateful I’m alive, still standing and able to appreciate the beauty surrounding me.
