One night, I had a strange dream about a string of pearls. Pearls are an esoteric gem that are usually made into jewellery. The people who appeared in my dream could not understand why pearls were valued as gems. I tried to explain to them why pearls were precious but they did not appreciate pearls.
The latent meaning of my dream was not to give valuables to unappreciative people who might disrespect the valuables. Another interpretation would be one person’s precious asset, can be another person’s disregard. (One man’s meat is another man’s poison).
